What exactly do you build?
We build custom data platforms. Think of it like a workspace where all your data lives. On top, you build data products: dashboards, ML models, whatever you need. The platform is the workspace. Data products are what you make with the tools.
What are data products?
Ways to access your data. Could be a dashboard. Could be an ML model. Could be a Google Sheets connection. Example: a customer cohorts dashboard that pulls data from 8 different SaaS tools and shows it in one place.
How long does it take?
Base platform: one week. Data products on top: depends what you want. We've done this dozens of times. We know exactly what to build. No exploring. No figuring it out as we go. Just deploy.
What are the costs?
Custom, but data products normally range from €1500 to €15000 depending on the complexity. Every client is different.
Are you SaaS or a service?
Service. We're not a SaaS platform. We build infrastructure in your cloud. You own the code. If you leave, you keep everything.SaaS platforms charge monthly fees forever and lock you in. When you stop paying, you lose access. We're engineers who deploy systems. One-time build, then optional ongoing support if you want it. No forced subscriptions. Think of it like hiring a contractor to build your house vs renting an apartment. We build, you own.
Who owns the code and infrastructure?
You do. Everything lives in your cloud account. Your GitHub repo. Your infrastructure. Zero dependencies on us. If you want to leave, you keep everything. We can also host it for you if you want.
What's the difference between classic consultancy?
We're engineers, not consultants. Consultants analyze. They do workshops. They write reports. We write code. We deploy infrastructure. We build things. You get working systems, not documents.
What happens after you deploy?
Your choice: take it over yourself (we train you) or we manage it for you. Most clients don't have data engineers, so we manage it. But if you want to own it, we hand it off.
Can you work with [Azure/our specific cloud/our tools]?
Probably. We have a default stack we use for most clients. Works great for SMBs. But if you need Azure, or Databricks, or something specific, we adapt. Same approach. Different tools.
We're not sure exactly what we need yet. Where do we start?
Start with Blueprint. €1500. Takes a week. We audit your setup. Talk to your team. Figure out what you have and what you're trying to do. Then we give you a roadmap and cost estimate. If you proceed within 30 days, the €1500 is free. It's a paid discovery that becomes free if you move forward.
What about GDPR, security, and compliance?
Data lives in your cloud. You pick the region. EU, UK, wherever. We follow standard security practices: infrastructure as code, credential management, role-based access. If you have specific compliance requirements, we work with your IT/legal team during Blueprint. Most SMBs don't have complex needs, but if you do, we handle it.
Our team isn't technical. Can we actually use this?
Depends what you want to do. Just want dashboards? We build them. You use them. No technical skills needed. Want to write SQL queries or modify things yourself? There's a learning curve. We train you, but you'll need to learn. The platform is built for technical people. The outputs (dashboards, reports) are built for everyone.
